The Incomparable

106: Dance With a Dalek in the Pale Moonlight

the incomparable podcast number 106 [TS]

September 20 well we're back [TS]

uncomfortable this is one of our fabled [TS]

flash episodes where we don't edit [TS]

because i am very lazy and we talk about [TS]

what just happened with no planning this [TS]

is jason snelling we hosted the [TS]

uncomfortable and joining me to talk [TS]

about things that just happened are my [TS]

flash guests damn or in hi dan I just [TS]

don't talk really crass read yet that [TS]

  because if that podcast [TS]

wow that was really you need to talk [TS]

slower then IL dit make up the [TS]

  difference [TS]

it got your editing ah yes John siracusa [TS]

was the voice you heard there hi John [TS]

although Jesus it's good to have you [TS]

here Glenn Fleischman is also here [TS]

hello who's coming who's not here [TS]

occasionally LTS green Scott McNulty is [TS]

is trapped in the wilds of [TS]

of Maryland yes Maryland is where he is [TS]

which is very much like the asylum of [TS]

the daleks and also joining us is Monty [TS]

Ashley hi Monty hello thank you for [TS]

  being here [TS]

so our topics we have things that [TS]

happened this weekend we wanted to talk [TS]

about really quickly and the last year [TS]

we did a series of flash episodes [TS]

quickly posted unedited about Doctor [TS]

Who's season as it was going on mostly [TS]

because i love Doctor Who and I like to [TS]

talk about it and I and so we're gonna [TS]

maybe do that again a few times the [TS]

Doctor Who premier happened to this [TS]

weekend asylum of the daleks and hugo [TS]

awards were also given out this weekend [TS]

which is very interesting given our [TS]

podcast on that subject and most [TS]

importantly I'm sure far more important [TS]

than Hugo Awards cue the music is the [TS]

fact that the at-at the Dragon Con in [TS]

atlanta georgia they have they have an [TS]

award ceremony called a parsec awards [TS]

which is for bet the best sci-fi themed [TS]

podcasts and yes it is true in a [TS]

category far too complicated for me to [TS]

remember the uncomfortable was named the [TS]

winner so we are now officially an [TS]

award-winning podcast i believe it was [TS]

best podcast named the incompetent we [TS]

have to weigh with that we can we have [TS]

its own up its own up that's never gonna [TS]

dance all over that award by thinking [TS]

I'm edited pada that's right now we're [TS]

gonna sell it wasn't because I would [TS]

have gotten record if they can't compare [TS]

  us to anything [TS]

exactly well that was my plan all along [TS]

i will only take Doug's milk in my [TS]

dressing room from now on all right [TS]

mighty got it thank you check that yay [TS]

we're an award-winning podcast now [TS]

anything can happen you can afford it [TS]

yeah that's right that's right with [TS]

whether this is this comes with a [TS]

  substantial cash prize right [TS]

Oh clearly clearly absolutely i'm [TS]

waiting for that to come in i'm going to [TS]

check money Alex can we be the podcast [TS]

that maybe Kessel run in under 12 [TS]

parsecs we can under 12 parsecs awards [TS]

in jazz that's right well thank you to [TS]

the people who do the parks person [TS]

  awards [TS]

I appreciate very much and I think [TS]

full credit to the excellent panel that [TS]

we have and have done these hundred and [TS]

some episodes that you know I really [TS]

appreciate it i think it's a fantastic [TS]

and they asked me to send in a thing [TS]

that would be like a pre-recorded thank [TS]

  you [TS]

and.and on friday night i looked at the [TS]

clock and I said it's too late i'm very [TS]

sleepy i'm going to go to bed i'm not [TS]

  going to win [TS]

it's fine I'll just I'll just and then [TS]

we we want the warden there was nothing [TS]

for them to play because you know it was [TS]

lazy sad because I actually a friend of [TS]

mine was at dragoncon had I known I [TS]

would have instructed her to go and go [TS]

to work to accept the award on our [TS]

behalf pls this well be the girlfriend [TS]

of one of our occasional panelists was [TS]

there so wow that would have been that [TS]

  would work [TS]

I wonder if there's a statue anyway that [TS]

was that was pretty cool thing that [TS]

happened I your limitations doctor who [TS]

season premiere asylum of the daleks [TS]

matt smith get the old band back [TS]

  together [TS]

Amy and Rory i kidnapped from the by the [TS]

Daleks even a an attempt by the Daleks [TS]

to save their marriage I think wait for [TS]

Daleks marriage no to save the dollar [TS]

the Daleks are trying to save the [TS]

  marriage [TS]

yes that's right you'll be living [TS]

together we'll make this work [TS]

you just need some therapy vs the Daleks [TS]

our marriage counselors and they and [TS]

they were very helpful in kidnapping Amy [TS]

and Rory and taking them to the the [TS]

parliament of the Daleks I didn't know [TS]

the Daleks had a representative [TS]

democracy either but there you go things [TS]

you learn here you can see Chewbacca in [TS]

dt feel completely forgot it [TS]

yeah i thought i was really disappointed [TS]

when they were just 40 minutes of [TS]

  various parliamentary procedures and [TS]

Robert's Rules of Order inside the [TS]

government all the question i move [TS]

  except admitting something previous [TS]

meeting which involve the culture [TS]

exterminate the motion it's terrible [TS]

yeah that's why what do you suppose the [TS]

Parliament a Dalek does the rest of the [TS]

time if we kinda neat mix of jazz fusion [TS]

and don't kill people actually correct [TS]

  into there's magic slate [TS]

so an executive yeah yeah um so what i [TS]

want so I know I don't even know what to [TS]

say about this i thought it was a pretty [TS]

interesting episode uh excited to have [TS]

dr. who back Daleks are problematic and [TS]

that their this this emblematic creature [TS]

it's time to Doctor Who it's in the lure [TS]

of in in Britain right i mean doctor who [TS]

in the Daleks go hand-in-hand [TS]

they're kinda silly they sort of told [TS]

all the stories that you could really [TS]

tell and what i thought was interesting [TS]

about this episode is that it really [TS]

didn't feel like every other Dalek [TS]

episode ever and really did it really [TS]

did feel like Steven Moffat who'd never [TS]

written a Dalek episode before tried to [TS]

constrain it and make it well this is [TS]

the list with a really bad Daleks are [TS]

and they've kind of been on their own [TS]

and and try to make it more creepy and [TS]

not have the the only scenes with the [TS]

mass of a thousand Daleks they're [TS]

sitting in their level Parliament office [TS]

and the rest of the time it's just kind [TS]

of creepy weird kind of deserted brooms [TS]

and and old dusty Daleks that are slowly [TS]

waking up and I thought it was an [TS]

interesting attempt to take them and [TS]

make them you know put them in a story [TS]

that was a little more interesting where [TS]

they could be a little more menacing and [TS]

not just sort of silly and ridiculous [TS]

not too many things because you might [TS]

actually then fear that they would [TS]

actually hit a target with their laser [TS]

no no it's not gonna be crazy everybody [TS]

hitting things that are chest high and [TS]

directly in front of the only Imperial [TS]

Stormtroopers what do Daleks and [TS]

stormtroopers have in common it may be [TS]

knocking line stairs and things like [TS]

that it is anyone does anyone feel like [TS]

the Daleks are threatening in any way [TS]

anymore like they just thinking more [TS]

like a Michael already like James Bond [TS]

villains just come he's right there they [TS]

could roll over your foot that would [TS]

really hurt maybe like you have a lot of [TS]

hacks no I mean by accident they have a [TS]

rubber bumper around the edges [TS]

yeah just pretend my pleasure to God [TS]

Dalek bumper cars i think we just [TS]

stumbled upon the greatest amusement [TS]

  ride ever [TS]

well I thought that was the clever thing [TS]

about having the asylum and having a [TS]

having them be kind of waking up and [TS]

sleepy and broken and crazy was that it [TS]

was a little more of an explanation for [TS]

  why they wouldn't [TS]

immediately kill everybody was in an [TS]

asylum of the daleks there was an old [TS]

age home of the dog [TS]

yeah at hospital I just about well he's [TS]

just days and Johnny prom since the big [TS]

  time war that happened [TS]

no I see all the defective Daleks all [TS]

the Daleks said you know they're saying [TS]

read river you know out of operational [TS]

parameters we don't you love this [TS]

problem is figuring out i mean the [TS]

doctor i think the the showrunners in [TS]

the script writers the eye problems with [TS]

continuity in this episode and [TS]

  tremendous tremendous community issues [TS]

because there is no added maybe [TS]

continuity you'll find your all but even [TS]

with Amy and worried but the other thing [TS]

is they keep they can't quite decide [TS]

with the Daleks are the Daleks are as we [TS]

know they are so there are living [TS]

organisms kind of like the brain part [TS]

stuck into a cybernetic body razor there [TS]

are mutants and whatever and designed by [TS]

dr. Ross right and but they sometimes [TS]

they're like robots sometimes they're [TS]

like living things sometimes they [TS]

supposed to have no feelings at all and [TS]

the doctors all up in their grill [TS]

literally about like strolling the [TS]

divine they have any links there hate [TS]

they have their hateful that they are [TS]

they the Cybermen have no feelings the [TS]

Daleks are pure eight dollars yeah [TS]

that's true but it's not talk about what [TS]

you know you got rid of anything else [TS]

you inside that you know metal shell [TS]

because you just be screaming if you [TS]

  were I don't know it's just I think [TS]

there's a little confusion there in the [TS]

scriptwriters know we've seen a pretty [TS]

  consistent pretty like presentation [TS]

Daleks I feel since the since the [TS]

christopher eccleston first episode with [TS]

that they still sort of treat them like [TS]

the robots that happens sometimes [TS]

remember there's something like the [TS]

whole thing with the humans being taken [TS]

over and the defense system will talk [TS]

about where like people get turned into [TS]

Daleks I think it's this time they [TS]

became Cyberman this episode all we take [TS]

humans and convert them it seems to be [TS]

their slaves except for the turns out [TS]

there's one that they just did a little [TS]

older generation they were going to do [TS]

that in new york city in 1931 with david [TS]

tennant but they got all distracted by [TS]

turning themselves into something when [TS]

people are one could argue that was the [TS]

asylum of the daleks it wasn't the [TS]

Daleks pcs it was the ones on the planet [TS]

where she crash-landed did the total [TS]

conversion so they are crazy crazy to [TS]

  start with [TS]

I have a plot point question that the [TS]

outside of the episode they do the [TS]

things they've never been able to do [TS]

before which is they get doctor who for [TS]

some reason has tardisimo I guess we [TS]

didn't see it until he shows up [TS]

Department of the Daleks to get Amy and [TS]

Rory they bring them all together and [TS]

they say hey we have this problem you [TS]

have to help us and what what was the [TS]

problem that was opera coming from the [TS]

  planet [TS]

yeah there were some way I was unclear [TS]

exactly what was terrible and the Daleks [TS]

we wanted to destroy the planet but [TS]

there was a force field they couldn't [TS]

stop because the amount of particle to [TS]

control what they want to honor the [TS]

products they didn't want to destroy the [TS]

planet because they honored their crazy [TS]

well not yeah but the problem was I [TS]

think they were worried they're all [TS]

going to get out basically yeah well as [TS]

what was that there was something fishy [TS]

when I was the thing that was ambiguous [TS]

or like the thinking something was [TS]

changing on the planet and they worried [TS]

that they'd be able to break through [TS]

right they thought that the this the [TS]

crash the spaceship crash was going to [TS]

lead to this chain of events that was [TS]

going to allow a genius evil destructive [TS]

Dalek to escape which i think in the end [TS]

the suggestion was that that the girl [TS]

who turns out to be a Dalek was going to [TS]

be this thing that would destroy the [TS]

Daleks and so they had to send the [TS]

doctor in to get to take down the force [TS]

field so that they could blow it up and [TS]

  and I don't know I I it's funny we [TS]

usually that's a little clearer than us [TS]

that was five of us trying to figure out [TS]

what it was exactly what the dollars are [TS]

being but it didn't matter in contacts [TS]

just that I think we all forgot because [TS]

it doesn't matter in the end it was [TS]

getting confused assembly down like all [TS]

right fine whatever they got to go down [TS]

there was an internal there's a [TS]

convoluted chain of events but yeah he's [TS]

got to go to the Dalek plan and there's [TS]

one way switch because you only want to [TS]

turn the off switch inside where the [TS]

crazy people are not outside with people [TS]

that security claim that's basically [TS]

Dalek security 101 let me let me throw a [TS]

question as long as we're talking about [TS]

continuity so in my mind this this [TS]

episode takes place somewhere both after [TS]

the so we saw last laugh after know so [TS]

the faster it is a technical term you [TS]

don't have any wine bottle she's smiling [TS]

right and we saw that alluded to in the [TS]

episode with Craig last season yeah has [TS]

to be out but after that because I think [TS]

we see I don't we see her isn't Rory [TS]

  there too [TS]

  yeah yeah [TS]

yes so we're better together see ya [TS]

there briefly he's briefly with them in [TS]

the season finale right and then this is [TS]

the next time you know we see that [TS]

everyone watch pond life the prequel yes [TS]

okay yes no apparently there was another [TS]

prequels just really yeah that's the [TS]

yeah it's all it's all on youtube [TS]

yeah wasn't actually a nice first bird [TS]

with matt smith was that it was actually [TS]

my first episode with matt smith wow I [TS]

just jump right in Hannah I got bored [TS]

partway through the david tennant season [TS]

we kept whining about missing rose [TS]

uh I got a long way to go oh and I [TS]

didn't realize it was starting up again [TS]

  so soon [TS]

it gets better it gets better you gotta [TS]

love Catherine Tate was marvelous yeah [TS]

that was good season loved her [TS]

yeah we'll try to let her but [TS]

unfortunately i now think of hers that [TS]

awful woman on the office [TS]

haha oh I was at that's backwards [TS]

  certainly out-of-sequence she's quite a [TS]

terminal adapter that's appropriate then [TS]

also we had pond life that leads into [TS]

  this which is funny [TS]

although that the the direct lead-in is [TS]

a little bit abrupt yeah with the 1i got [TS]

their marriage is falling apart right [TS]

now right now is some sort of silence [TS]

scene involving yelling and I think that [TS]

up i blame the food yet [TS]

really that's a sign that's the sign [TS]

that Amy is a model now is that her for [TS]

eye makeup as much darker yeah and [TS]

  inspect it [TS]

she's mean a model i do want to talk [TS]

about the you briefly because i have [TS]

never laughed anything order then [TS]

there's a nude on the low and it goes on [TS]

and it goes on like if you're really [TS]

guilty about this is the eat the [TS]

delicious breakfasts that you're making [TS]

just seen the domestic scenes doing is [TS]

doing a joke about finding a new food [TS]

sitting on your bathroom is the only on [TS]

your toilet your bathroom that would be [TS]

funny but the fact that they then [TS]

followed it up with an entire other [TS]

episode where the who becomes the butler [TS]

because that's what they do they like to [TS]

  do that [TS]

making breakfast yes to the journals on [TS]

and on the right is funny about this he [TS]

says eating is scottish breakfast so so [TS]

the episode itself you know the where [TS]

we're looking for Oswin who is this girl [TS]

who is chatting up the doctor via fire [TS]

radio and and he he is trying to find [TS]

her and she's sort of the source of [TS]

where this is all going on [TS]

and what is interesting about this is i [TS]

follow this show enough to realize that [TS]

Roman she comes the moment she comes on [TS]

screen this is general Louise Coleman [TS]

who is playing the new companion later [TS]

  this season [TS]

mhm and so then you're thinking oh it is [TS]

this a hint or we're going to be meeting [TS]

her and it turns out well this spoilers [TS]

it's a from a British TV perspective [TS]

there are no spoilers here she's been [TS]

announced everybody supposed to see her [TS]

and go oh isn't are we seeing the new [TS]

companion early and then at the end it [TS]

turns out though she's a Dalek and then [TS]

  the plant closed up [TS]

I had no idea she was new companions [TS]

Cruz idea she was a dog that actress is [TS]

  the new companion [TS]

yeah yeah well I call that I saw her [TS]

right away and thought she looks a [TS]

little like the girl with the new can [TS]

possibly be heard yeah that's her John i [TS]

knew i knew it was anyway this pot was [TS]

going so you figured out that you're [TS]

right i'll let you going to be a Dalek [TS]

and I convinced myself it wasn't her and [TS]

then i looked at the you know credit [TS]

management yeah that's her that's her [TS]

that now i'm confused but we really like [TS]

Therese hear her saucy flirty dialogue [TS]

coming out of the Dalek haha got with [TS]

just the Dalek and stuff what I'm on [TS]

  over here Jen boy [TS]

why do they always wrap Dalek in chains [TS]

that are easily breakable and consistent [TS]

theme have a lot of torque and those [TS]

little wheels in the Daleks wrapped in [TS]

chains on it would threat they don't [TS]

even have hands will you know these [TS]

these creatures were doing pretty good [TS]

really have to work with a plunger they [TS]

should have stopped him to the wall with [TS]

the planet do you live at times you have [TS]

wanted because be a plumber [TS]

I've left six right anyone that the [TS]

Daleks you know that this is its it [TS]

these things are tied together the [TS]

Daleks and Doctor Who and and a doctor [TS]

who has come a long way since 1963 but [TS]

the Daleks are you know they look the [TS]

way they are that they are what they are [TS]

and they were there a creature created [TS]

for a kids TV show in 1963 and and [TS]

that's what I always feel like when I [TS]

see the modern Doctor Who addressing the [TS]

Daleks it's like they gotta do it [TS]

everybody loves them in the UK and [TS]

they're they're so tied together and yet [TS]

they are ridiculous and it is a [TS]

difficult thing and you always since [TS]

every episode Rob Sherman's Dalek the [TS]

  crew [TS]

direction episode which was an excellent [TS]

episode but you know you could feel its [TS]

the what do I do with this how can i [TS]

make these guys problem at all relevant [TS]

or interesting and in that episode they [TS]

really did because it's a single one its [TS]

portrayed as being this kind of [TS]

incredible killing machine the sucker [TS]

actually the punch heard kills a guy [TS]

with the plunger excellent weapons in [TS]

that happens in one of the two-part [TS]

season ends to they use the plungers to [TS]

suck a guy's memory out the class carros [TS]

right so so that there are these [TS]

  attempts but you do [TS]

they're like original series Klingons [TS]

but the other struggling with their like [TS]

how can we make them and so you see in [TS]

this episode you see Steven Moffat like [TS]

what can i do to set this up so that [TS]

they seem scary and they don't seem too [TS]

ridiculous and we don't have them be [TS]

because you can't just if all you do is [TS]

kind of roll them out and have them be [TS]

we will destroy you it's not that [TS]

interesting because they are these [TS]

  ridiculous monsters from 1963 [TS]

I feel like half the time we see them [TS]

the doctor says something like time was [TS]

one of you could have destroyed all plan [TS]

all life on this planet but now I'm [TS]

facing down aw and stop that scary you [TS]

know what happened to you guys [TS]

hey he's any stops them with his mouths [TS]

words yeah you spare defeated by speech [TS]

now used to be a contender [TS]

although this time you know again that [TS]

the ABA it's almost like Steven Moffat [TS]

is just laying it out there it's what if [TS]

we bring the dot dr. in front of [TS]

thousands of dollars you're thinking [TS]

  like well yeah [TS]

thousands of dollars they're totally [TS]

they should be able to destroy them but [TS]

they're not going to because this is not [TS]

what the shows about and so he turns it [TS]

on a teddy has some they help us help us [TS]

and and the doctors well that's know [TS]

right i mean it's that you can see in [TS]

every every page of the script it's an [TS]

attempt to make the Daleks be put in a [TS]

different position just to make them [TS]

more interesting but without I forgotten [TS]

the also i just ask at the end of the [TS]

episode even though they don't remember [TS]

  him [TS]

shouldn't they kill him anyway that's [TS]

all the more reason we should kill him [TS]

because his amazing intimidation factor [TS]

  huh [TS]

here's that guy that were so intimidated [TS]

by me refused to fire a shot yeah but [TS]

he's got already been in the marketplace [TS]

chances around a lot may have a really [TS]

  hard time having [TS]

well he's here but he teleports into the [TS]

into the TARDIS right so he's basically [TS]

these pokes his head out and says yeah [TS]

what you said they got a shield or [TS]

  something right [TS]

he's going to order something they can't [TS]

too much money had they had the pad out [TS]

the episode with John because they [TS]

definitely ahead it was just and really [TS]

quick i lost track of universes and so [TS]

forth now we're here we go so we're into [TS]

the right track continuity again when he [TS]

in the doctor fantabulous magical [TS]

Pandorica in that series of episodes [TS]

universe reboots in the Daleks aren't [TS]

part of the universe but then later in [TS]

the world war two Winston Churchill [TS]

episode oh when no no let's just don't [TS]

even talk about the rebooting the [TS]

universe the Daleks are always part of [TS]

the universe but so but I've been [TS]

destroyed over and over the dogs yes and [TS]

they always come back because they [TS]

  contractually obligated they're like [TS]

cockroaches they are their endless and [TS]

wars in the sense and if you're on a [TS]

planet clock cockroaches scarier if [TS]

you're gonna planted in the end you're [TS]

smart enough you just get totally [TS]

converted by nana genes into being a [TS]

  Dalek [TS]

that's why I first why you have a cloud [TS]

if you've got a force field that [TS]

prevents people from going to thing and [TS]

like who's that exactly that aimed at [TS]

because there's a lot of dog end up on [TS]

the asylum list by did he should be my [TS]

texts are men a mother might s7 you i [TS]

just like to dispute ship your blog that [TS]

event the forehead bursters yeah yeah [TS]

and effect for them some guys taking a [TS]

cork out of a bottle of the fully [TS]

  robotic like three times [TS]

yeah so now that the Daleks don't know [TS]

who the doctor is to decide just go [TS]

around everybody i need your first [TS]

thinks he's dead which makes some really [TS]

  interesting conversations I remember [TS]

that guy the doctor now [TS]

no no although again I i like the fact [TS]

that that it's really them saying that [TS]

this show is just you can have it be [TS]

that everybody in the universe already [TS]

knows who he is and knows what he's [TS]

going to do and every time we meet the [TS]

Daleks and dogs are gonna say the osu we [TS]

know who you are and it's like it's like [TS]

you're watching we're watching his name [TS]

for you for watching a read on whether [TS]

in progress editor thing come from [TS]

let's watch the movie with Arnold [TS]

  Schwarzenegger was [TS]

very silly name you're like at you know [TS]

in that movie destination about myself [TS]

or like to be an alien know now the [TS]

  other one [TS]

terminator well my references dolly [TS]

completely dark your presence all the [TS]

way to that's this is the one that's the [TS]

one yeah those are really good Dalek [TS]

impressions to that's all it is well the [TS]

Daleks you know they are it's like [TS]

they're getting them out of the way here [TS]

I thought this was a fun episode it yeah [TS]

  because it's a rock it's a romp and [TS]

  there's a there it's it's made for [TS]

action and it's you know you know [TS]

there's the big hand wave like look to [TS]

suffice it to say that where the Daleks [TS]

and we're going to send you on a mission [TS]

even though your enemy and you're going [TS]

to go to this planet and you've got to [TS]

do this thing and and and at that point [TS]

we and we're going to split we're gonna [TS]

have a beam that doesn't fire quite [TS]

accurately so that it splits you up so [TS]

that the plot can commence in various [TS]

  locations [TS]

oh and Doc the doctors someone everybody [TS]

thinks he's dead and he's being sent [TS]

into a big prison like thing to do a [TS]

  thing [TS]

this is just escaped from New York all [TS]

over again exactly exactly escape escape [TS]

from Dalek New York don't forget the [TS]

idea doctor sent you a lot of sense [TS]

plotline this thing between Rory and Amy [TS]

so you have the pond life thing which [TS]

sets up the fact that they're split but [TS]

you don't have to watch that because [TS]

they establish that literally like five [TS]

sentences that established the entire [TS]

arc of they're divorced ah and there now [TS]

they're back together and everything's [TS]

finding it like that the five sentences [TS]

here's my junk start with a word I could [TS]

tell they were divorced i have a john [TS]

siracusa scale complaint which is no bad [TS]

like what magnitude honor keeps this [TS]

game in with six Amy sister Lori we know [TS]

you always wanted kids and we can't have [TS]

any I'm like river song I know she's [TS]

grown up I said that my wife and I like [TS]

that about like she doesn't count as I [TS]

don't wear it somewhere river song is [TS]

  crying in her sleep [TS]

my parents never loved me no matter when [TS]

she was even a baby for a little while [TS]

very very very brief but no she was like [TS]

ooh baby yes use the fake-boob baby and [TS]

adapters they raised his mouth they had [TS]

some time with their they can all work [TS]

cjohnson I was right yeah it's really [TS]

just true but never like my complaint [TS]

was their divorce thing like it [TS]

I was hoping this was gonna be a [TS]

season-long arc where they're split up [TS]

but no it's all resolved in five [TS]

sentences in a single episode weird [TS]

voice for a reason that would have been [TS]

solved by three seconds talking to each [TS]

other and then it was established by [TS]

like one silent scene with dramatic [TS]

music playing over it in a webisode oh [TS]

you know divorced ok sign this paper [TS]

oh you just want babies no really okay [TS]

fine that's it that was it you want to [TS]

Joseon no Doctor Who and the broken [TS]

relationships should have been issued [TS]

have been a season of the doctor at the [TS]

end of every episode pulling a scope [TS]

down and it's scanning amy was saying [TS]

divorced and not not divorced divorced [TS]

not to fluorescent protein so I know I [TS]

that and that Glenn is exactly why I'm [TS]

glad that this was resolved in one scene [TS]

in this episode right i have it though [TS]

like I know that this is there supposed [TS]

to be like leaving that I do know that [TS]

much about seasons there they're out of [TS]

here right so find this is a great way [TS]

to get the matter have them split up and [TS]

then have one died i don't care do [TS]

something but don't like saying i [TS]

reinforced all the back together [TS]

it started so many times are these died [TS]

so yeah they've done they've done that [TS]

when I did I did really in this episode [TS]

they almost both I think we turned over [TS]

knew I think we've turned over a new [TS]

leaf with killing worry I'll be proved [TS]

wrong next week when a dinosaur eats [TS]

something you can experience the true [TS]

death to use something from true blood [TS]

is a superb it's everywhere there's also [TS]

another big thing I don't understand the [TS]

whole nano bit nanobots no gene thing [TS]

was was I don't know where confusing i [TS]

did like the scene in the escape pod [TS]

that was actually kind of Awesome and [TS]

sort of whore scale creepy not the dead [TS]

bodies but the guy going [TS]

you're right i did die I die I body was [TS]

  preserved by the ice [TS]

how did I forget that you're like oh [TS]

that's a nice line lots of nice i I'll [TS]

you know the the fact that the doctor [TS]

gets them together and they have that [TS]

whole scene where they realized they [TS]

love each other and they cut to the [TS]

monitor and he's straightening his [TS]

bowtie and it's like yep that's I meant [TS]

to do that i just really like i was i [TS]

was a fan of where do you get the milk [TS]

oh yeah yeah yeah yeah and she's making [TS]

  a soufflĂ© that's where the plot [TS]

I mean they were being quite as clever [TS]

me they were trying to be that everybody [TS]

wanted us to feel the whole time like we [TS]

need and how it's going to be a dayton [TS]

mall and they set us up for travel with [TS]

something wrong there right and not just [TS]

the milk right red incredibly well it [TS]

perfect outfit and making a soufflĂ© you [TS]

know that's not you know not just the [TS]

milk to draw the eggs eggs eggs eggs [TS]

style magnate yeah those eggs then stir [TS]

and then she can oh yeah she's lost it [TS]

and i think i think i should play didn't [TS]

work on twitter i think Steven Moffat [TS]

said that at one point you can see that [TS]

she actually has an eggbeater in her [TS]

  little utility belt yeah [TS]

and of course the Daleks have a little [TS]

egg beater thing on there huh [TS]

see she said I like getting at it over [TS]

the eggs its eggs and milk [TS]

  I was a yes I thought the not-so [TS]

  husband's performance the actions [TS]

performed a loose I thought gentleman [TS]

  you what's that [TS]

jenna-louise Coleman internet and i will [TS]

learn her name yes and well and well [TS]

because you'll have to notion of louise [TS]

coleman and she was doing the catherine [TS]

tate I thought there was that kind of [TS]

data thing that she did that [TS]

confrontation so well with you that one [TS]

thing that she does she doesn't get the [TS]

new technical issue is i think that's x [TS]

which is the chest with you know that [TS]

kind of thing that little dude it she [TS]

didn't have that was sort of capitalism [TS]

  and she did a bunch and I I didn't see I [TS]

didn't see it is catherine tate but I'd [TS]

like i did like her I thought her [TS]

performance really had a good chemistry [TS]

too i think despite not sharing any [TS]

screen like direct screen time I thought [TS]

they did a good job because she's there [TS]

  like your changes [TS]

yeah i know i was ice I saw her and [TS]

thought oh you know she's good i can see [TS]

why the caster its ranks Lou Grant [TS]

you're on the wrong show [TS]

suck it is a classic I'll manifested as [TS]

there had been a companion Mary Tyler [TS]

Dalek that would be a great show [TS]

no no greater is not a word rosary at [TS]

the end of the credit she throws her egg [TS]

beater up in the air that wasn't the [TS]

grave gun fires and destroys it [TS]

you're gonna exterminate it after all no [TS]

dude very very dark more excellent [TS]

I any other thoughts about about asylum [TS]

of the daleks you know how like the that [TS]

we are still in that universe as we were [TS]

saying would be with the doctor being [TS]

dead and i liked it that you know we had [TS]

that little echo at the end right of the [TS]

  question [TS]

  oh yes [TS]

whatever who will be first question [TS]

Doctor Who I felt like leaned on that [TS]

for about five minutes too long [TS]

it's the name of the show you get a bit [TS]

with the doctor who doctor ? maybe [TS]

there's been too much and how I feel [TS]

like you can pull that out like once [TS]

every five seasons and I don't like come [TS]

on again trouble try calling the [TS]

character doctor who and they don't that [TS]

people are freaked out the show now [TS]

that's without although to be fair John [TS]

it was really like the last scene of the [TS]

last season and it's in the very it's in [TS]

the last scene of the first episode of [TS]

the new season and I assume that's sort [TS]

of resetting I think he's gonna and [TS]

every episode and so does gonna be [TS]

people chanting Doctor Who gonna make it [TS]

after wonder who dr who that's right [TS]

yeah in the Western episode that's [TS]

coming up felt that will be that that [TS]

thing it's you know doc holliday and no [TS]

no Doctor Who Doctor Who I think it was [TS]

the in the webisode of whatever thing [TS]

upon lighting where he comes into their [TS]

bedroom and tries to warn them about [TS]

something that hasn't happened yet [TS]

you know nevermind everything and i'm [TS]

assuming they show like seems from that [TS]

from the upcoming right and that that [TS]

should happen more often than a time [TS]

traveler there is and when he comes in [TS]

flight the thing very well so you know [TS]

that doesn't make six everybody [TS]

everything is Mike six people remember [TS]

we found that our weapons and the but no [TS]

the best part of that that particular [TS]

webisodes that brewery says something [TS]

like oh I hate when this happens i hate [TS]

when he does this like this is not the [TS]

first time that he's just coming into [TS]

their bedroom in the middle of the night [TS]

well it's interesting that these guys [TS]

are unique in the companions in the [TS]

history of convenience is that they come [TS]

and go now it will be for everyone [TS]

always travel with him and they should [TS]

dump them somewhere was sent to [TS]

Gallifrey you trying to butter bread [TS]

waste that's right bye-bye memory chain [TS]

Mary changing classic Spiderman uh [TS]

please J and no Jesus well when the Glen [TS]

body's broken down again get it's not [TS]

  have a honor [TS]

  yep shopping [TS]

go ahead and slowly being transformed [TS]

into a Dalek by ionic cloud absolutely [TS]

i'm glad we didn't actually resolve that [TS]

plot plot point that had been really [TS]

wonderful of you being converted into a [TS]

Dalek but not know the man at like the [TS]

nano jeans is like it's terrible we're [TS]

  all going to nevermind [TS]

yeah it's fine i like now I know she [TS]

  partially converted now [TS]

yeah they are they both she well I got [TS]

really took it up and what I really like [TS]

that with the doctor but they didn't [TS]

really explain it the whole oh he's a [TS]

time when he probably doesn't have [TS]

  always wanted [TS]

maybe maybe he does it start by eating [TS]

your love and more love you have the [TS]

longer it takes to turn into a doll and [TS]

I think we can do this mathematically [TS]

guys because I've heard that the [TS]

lovemaking is equal to do it [TS]

oh wow equation in here somewhere [TS]

  that's right that's right that's what [TS]

confuses the Daleks that thing I think [TS]

is unique about the Rory and Amy pair [TS]

from the side only started watching with [TS]

that accent so did I know like these [TS]

things is that not that they're spunky [TS]

so they seem to have a kind of cynical [TS]

world-weary added to it like a paternal [TS]

attitude towards the doctor mostly other [TS]

ones were tend to be in all of him or or [TS]

write a long time but I got that doctor [TS]

guy again and they're like oh I kind of [TS]

Miss this is kind of fun like maybe this [TS]

is the impression from the webisodes [TS]

only starting to see more cynical about [TS]

it i just wish they would also be more [TS]

intelligent like when he burst into the [TS]

room and says oh nevermind that hasn't [TS]

happened yet you should worry just why [TS]

you're here right down like a synopsis [TS]

of the current episode that you're in so [TS]

that when we cannot do it was the one [TS]

episode that's really did that with the [TS]

with the original silence was the [TS]

episode like the blank ya think that's [TS]

basically he goes running by with a [TS]

crossbow not like here you need this is [TS]

like I haven't done the house just hold [TS]

on to it you'll need it later okay and [TS]

you'll get stuck in 1969 just go here's [TS]

the wrists act surprised yes [TS]

  yeah exactly [TS]

no i think it was i think it's actually [TS]

is very entertaining was one of these [TS]

rollicking episodes lots of stuff for [TS]

you know Horror Show style Fitness giant [TS]

plot elements creepy and then it's a [TS]

beautiful women woman at the end and [TS]

then the big reveal she's a great little [TS]

Dyke season or did it didn't feel like [TS]

it set up the season know [TS]

just like an episode of cleaner episode [TS]

so my impression of this season is that [TS]

there is nothing to set up that that [TS]

that the gonna run around and don't know [TS]

that the only meet you Adam is such as [TS]

individual sort of blockbuster yeah the [TS]

feedback from last season I think of how [TS]

r kv it was has been taken to the point [TS]

where this and i suspect that there is a [TS]

a big storyline coming for the 50th [TS]

anniversary next year so this season is [TS]

essentially all standalone episodes and [TS]

i think that the Ark is moving into the [TS]

background for a little while so we [TS]

gotta get rid of your name right that's [TS]

the artist was we got it i think there's [TS]

an episode i think that's a single [TS]

episode that headless monks probably [TS]

  hoping i don't i don't know if that's [TS]

happening this season or if it's [TS]

something that they're saving for the [TS]

50th I think that fields of trenzalore [TS]

and all those things our 50th [TS]

anniversary material and they're not [TS]

going to deal with it this this season [TS]

will call it the 14 doctors ya round up [TS]

everyone who is alive and see what [TS]

happens and maybe even some of the ones [TS]

who are dead just recast them no one [TS]

will just get this route you know modify [TS]

the tupac hologram put the heart melt [TS]

nearly out all the hype as you're back [TS]

by ronald reagan yeah that's the way [TS]

  your heart no hologram [TS]

it's coming it's gonna happen with a [TS]

great six and then he's gonna give us [TS]

  our election results [TS]

oh they could do what they did on [TS]

Sopranos really constructed a new [TS]

robotic Livia soprano other old clips [TS]

yeah exactly i don't think the BBC has a [TS]

budget for that can make like Fred [TS]

Astaire Dance of the vacuum cleaner [TS]

something like that they give you [TS]

anything you can do anything dance with [TS]

a Dalek for the circle dance with Alec [TS]

Sadler being all the old doctors have [TS]

been converted into Daleks that's what [TS]

like in the pale moonlight [TS]

I'm not sure a Dalek can dance without [TS]

having legs it the Dalek dances as the [TS]

title did you see them there was that [TS]

whole scene where they were waltzing [TS]

yeah that well that was just kind of [TS]

idly spinning around sure i'll buy it i [TS]

didn't have like that that scene where [TS]

where Amy thought that the Daleks were [TS]

little friendly people and it is like [TS]

that friendly i got to be on various [TS]

strange like that table reading that [TS]

once again could not she regularly [TS]

didn't even have it is look again you [TS]

have plenty of time trust me they won't [TS]

attack they'll just slowly travel [TS]

towards you just look again all i see [TS]

now i have time to [TS]

shocked and run good thing they didn't [TS]

fire on me I didn't like the idea that [TS]

  we get around asylum [TS]

I did like that we get that like you [TS]

know the edgy bit of the doctor where he [TS]

kills all you know all wanted the Daleks [TS]

by turning one of them into a bomb [TS]

basically and then he gets that to [TS]

deliver that smug you know who killed [TS]

all the Daleks who do you think you are [TS]

the Ducks I liked that line I did not [TS]

like the line on a scale of one to ten [TS]

eleven letters that's that's great [TS]

writing their guys on a scale of 1 to 10 [TS]

I'm the 11th it's like the the spinal [TS]

tap Joker's come all the way back around [TS]

to our dog this should be called this [TS]

episode we called our dollar goes to 11 [TS]

ask yourself how much you know honestly [TS]

be an answer is to be fair marks on a [TS]

scale of one to ten for the doctor this [TS]

  is like a six [TS]

yeah that would have been a much better [TS]

line is a loved one's dead hard sex yeah [TS]

this is your parents having planets and [TS]

hide them through this and actually so [TS]

I'd say we're doing pretty well veteran [TS]

no one's trying to kill us right now and [TS]

we're all in the same room nobody's [TS]

captured separately don't remember to ok [TS]

let's all three right there [TS]

yeah you think this is bad I do this all [TS]

the time i got that was Michael thursday [TS]

i just realize that that line of the [TS]

beginning the bit about dr. needs his [TS]

companions I was like man must have his [TS]

made this no one can deny just I don't [TS]

strike me as very odd thing like we is [TS]

the Dalek ex machina a part of the third [TS]

wish something would strike you [TS]

they know that the doctor always has a [TS]

companion they haven't noticed he also [TS]

always kills all the galaxies meets sure [TS]

you're not better recognition is not [TS]

  this one [TS]

it's our points with the Dalek driving [TS]

the bus good but stoppage rather it was [TS]

a converted convertible for you major [TS]

what were the converted human dollars [TS]

doing on earth not even i don't know i [TS]

really think it's a dollar technology at [TS]

the bus so what I don't know [TS]

oh it's a bad idea but but i will [TS]

exterminate that's no no you can't go [TS]

just to exterminate the people outside [TS]

the bus not inside of us that's all we [TS]

ask is also the Daleks do adults drives [TS]

buses Dalek side are our makeup artist [TS]

Alex you a lot of things and ecology mr. [TS]

daughter who is available to any more [TS]

okay that i did like the dollar [TS]

  convertible [TS]

when was she seemed to be very underused [TS]

the beginning when she lures the doctor [TS]

then she has a couple really funny lines [TS]

and then you know just all spiffy outfit [TS]

  yeah [TS]

spiffy not very Dolly outfit she before [TS]

she was a Dalek was really bothering me [TS]

that she was a super-hacker that could [TS]

turn off all the security system right [TS]

but still thought the best way to keep [TS]

her door closes two pound wood across [TS]

the door there's a clear head of the [TS]

Lord Almighty one of the many many [TS]

signals this is a dream sequence yes you [TS]

someone hammering would against the door [TS]

in a spaceship expendable and also the [TS]

dream sequence and planks you always [TS]

bring wooden planks with you on your [TS]

spaceship cliff either way the [TS]

  fashionable building show the [TS]

fashionable woman yeah is dressed that [TS]

way because if she was wearing like a [TS]

big long dress with little balls all [TS]

around it and and and like and like a [TS]

sucker and a native Peter and then when [TS]

she's in the parliament she could you [TS]

know changing their cities and I guess [TS]

she walked in with something like a [TS]

plunger and once it would have been a [TS]

giveaway you like I just I just done [TS]

with me you know i'm not jail i'm not a [TS]

Dalek of a plumber is James Bond wears a [TS]

tuxedo for this very same reason it's [TS]

  just a dream [TS]

alright okay so-so doctors helped more [TS]

plumbers that's a asylum of the daleks [TS]

so you know it's the Daleks I I i was [TS]

very happy to have dr. her back and I [TS]

had a fun time in my son was only mildly [TS]

frightened by the horrible deformed [TS]

galaxies that are down and that's been [TS]

that terrible place but a scale of one [TS]

to ten how frightening it wasn't 11 let [TS]

me tell you that because it you said 10 [TS]

12 10 and if the scale of one to ten [TS]

eleven doesn't make any sense kill this [TS]

but it's 11 because why why wouldn't you [TS]

just make 11 going to make ten louder [TS]

tenjune yeah exactly why wouldn't you [TS]

just make ten more scary than the whole [TS]

that don't look at that dollar only why [TS]

would you say 11 when 10 could just be [TS]

  more scary [TS]

hi John knows what I'm talking about [TS]

  what [TS]

that's another episode is it someday [TS]

ok 110% that somebody the spinal tap [TS]

episode of the incomparable will happen [TS]

ah before we go I wanted to mention the [TS]

  hugo awards [TS]

  yes we're giving away [TS]

we went on we didn't win one of those we [TS]

want everyone how many we want another [TS]

was even a fan cast thing [TS]

yeah thats 1 as jason points out by [TS]

professional yes it's like a winner the [TS]

winner of the talent we have a winner of [TS]

the best fancast award was a bunch of [TS]

professional science fiction writers who [TS]

have been nominated for you go so their [TS]

fan to change the name or your bet [TS]

  they're not professional podcast [TS]

deliveries are not me all those ten guys [TS]

yeah existence of themselves very much [TS]

sure it's lovely it's lovely best novel [TS]

went to jail Waltons among others which [TS]

we did a podcast what we need to learn [TS]

to go podcast guest pressure love to [TS]

read you should read it it's really good [TS]

so good it's really good that was great [TS]

and i was very happy and Scott McNulty [TS]

who could not be with us [TS]

it joins me in saying a wasn't deadline [TS]

it with the book we really loved instead [TS]

it wasn't just the anti vote it was also [TS]

the vote for the one that we thought was [TS]

the best because like because I wasn't [TS]

watching you stream before the [TS]

unceremonious Lee cutting off the street [TS]

people which we convention but the i'm [TS]

watching the tweets and icy patch pic [TS]

hidden Wilson who's science fiction [TS]

editor of some renown start catching [TS]

about is like I really hate this I hate [TS]

these fans of events just is really [TS]

awful and I thought oh no they gave it [TS]

to grant and then it was complaining [TS]

about they were showing memorial footage [TS]

from the previous year he said people [TS]

have some people wanted loudly at [TS]

something and didn't for others and he [TS]

was absolutely appalled by it [TS]

yeah yeah people talent for the worst [TS]

um I think in Busytown finished second [TS]

  by the way [TS]

yeah sorry yeah yeah dad yeah [TS]

iran iraq and second it was up against [TS]

other books that were not as good this [TS]

is why i stopped paying attention to the [TS]

awards for the most part yeah this year [TS]

did a good job though the man who bridge [TS]

the mist by kids johnson won best [TS]

novella and i love that story [TS]

great story and at one which may be very [TS]

  happy [TS]

I know people that know kids they say [TS]

she is the best I didn't even know she [TS]

was a she but you know what that story [TS]

is the best so that's even better [TS]

good to hear that yeah [TS]

man who bridge the mist crazy really [TS]

good loved a lot and one so i was very [TS]

excited best novelette went to charlie [TS]

jane andrews who is the editor of [TS]

io9.com I and she wrote a story called [TS]

six months three days which was a fun [TS]

story about to precognitives who have a [TS]

relationship and they both know how it's [TS]

going to end but they cannot go through [TS]

it because they know that they have [TS]

their relationship for six months and [TS]

three days before it ends and it was [TS]

very funny and told them a little time [TS]

you want me I guess but that was really [TS]

  good [TS]

the paper menagerie which is a fantastic [TS]

story the two great short stories can [TS]

lose the paper menagerie one and then [TS]

Lily you who won the award for best new [TS]

writer had a great story called the tart [TS]

cartographer wasps and anarchist bees [TS]

that was also those are my two favorite [TS]

short stories and both of those writers [TS]

walked off with an award so that made me [TS]

happy so they stoled they they walked [TS]

off and were not stopped so that I guess [TS]

  they won [TS]

that's that's how I hope to her yeah and [TS]

then in the dramatic presentation of [TS]

awards the long-form award they decided [TS]

to submit game of thrones as a season in [TS]

the long-form category instead of his [TS]

individual episodes in the short-form [TS]

category which has been won by Doctor [TS]

Who for like the last five years [TS]

so-and-so game of thrones one the [TS]

long-form category for season one and [TS]

the neil gaiman episode the doctor's [TS]

wife of doctor who won the short-form [TS]

category which I believe came with the [TS]

revelation that he is currently writing [TS]

another episode he's writing another [TS]

episode yes yes third draft that's right [TS]

it's exciting that's the best draft that [TS]

is if it's gonna get worse first two [TS]

weren't so good but there is only the [TS]

third roughly 20,000 words just get it [TS]

down by 90 but yeah sure yeah and that [TS]

was the point of the show where the [TS]

ustream cut it off because they just [TS]

shown clip so yeah it's integrated [TS]

robots can turn a lot coming through [TS]

content robot scanning for violations of [TS]

copyright spotted the Doctor Who clips [TS]

authorized in fact of course by the BBC [TS]

to be shown because they were nominated [TS]

for an award you show the clips sonali [TS]

  right has been violated [TS]

I like that it might all be well be [TS]

terminated yachts was that Monty I say [TS]

it might also have been the community [TS]

  clip i wouldn't put NBC's robots [TS]

yeah it's true it could also be [TS]

surprised NBC's robots would be that [TS]

competent that's what ya surprised by [TS]

the very idea of robots watching all of [TS]

you stream and recognizing the copyright [TS]

well better than another for we haven't [TS]

had much to do you think well that's [TS]

what they do in the asylum of the daleks [TS]

are watching ustream when you know gonna [TS]

  go [TS]

that explains everything that's why they [TS]

went mad for watching TV you're watching [TS]

please turn it off now [TS]

yes game show network is coming on g 4g [TS]

4g far anyway that I got to say about [TS]

the Hugo's other than yes it was a funny [TS]

moment from a technology perspective [TS]

when they were shut off their streams [TS]

shut hot because they posted copyrighted [TS]

  clips [TS]

yeah i'm glad the great not let the [TS]

right novel one is all i can say yeah [TS]

yeah and i think the short story winners [TS]

were all really good too and and [TS]

although i don't vote neil gaiman [TS]

  episode first I'd I didn't like it i [TS]

thought the girl who waited with a [TS]

little bit better but I i liked it so [TS]

yeah yeah alright that idea that the [TS]

last day i got one last thing okay upset [TS]

which is a love Rory throw interface [TS]

well I love you more I mean I waited two [TS]

thousand years how many times in your [TS]

  face [TS]

how many times can you do that i mean [TS]

that that ends a lot of arguments i'm [TS]

guessing in that pond house [TS]

yeah you know over the weekend i want to [TS]

be divorced again i watch the last [TS]

couple episodes of friday night lights [TS]

over the weekend which is a great show i [TS]

loved it a lot and I put off watching [TS]

the last season because I didn't really [TS]

want to watch it and have it end but [TS]

there's a very similar thing in there [TS]

where to Tim Riggins has gone to jail [TS]

for his brother because brothers got a [TS]

kidney doesn't want even though his [TS]

brother committed this crime he [TS]

basically goes to jail for him take the [TS]

rap for it and and it was the very much [TS]

the same thing it's like yeah okay you [TS]

went to jail for me [TS]

how many times can you [TS]

put that over my head right it's again [TS]

okay you're Roman for 2,000 years I got [TS]

  it [TS]

oh I got that but it's it's you know [TS]

that was 2,000 years ago [TS]

Let Go you with 2,000 meters I'm sterile [TS]

or even okay yeah you were put your [TS]

plastic i rebooted the entire universe [TS]

and everything in the universe is [TS]

  because I me me [TS]

let's call it even okay let's call it [TS]

  even [TS]

mr. Pond yeah I go somewhere and wait [TS]

two thousand four years for you get drop [TS]

  it already [TS]

yeah that's it that would be the [TS]

solution dr. take me back 2,000 years [TS]

  i'm gonna get this [TS]

let's just get this is enough yeah you [TS]

know she waited like 30 years of [TS]

something in the the one where she got [TS]

  old [TS]

yeah didn't seem like that long after [TS]

that one that one doesn't exist anymore [TS]

now they wiped her out and she wasn't [TS]

made a plastic so she actually age she [TS]

was also kind of bitter [TS]

yeah she was that she was on the other [TS]

foot 98 worry didn't say anything about [TS]

that I with a few thousand years [TS]

30 whatever alright well thank you all [TS]

for being in this special exciting flash [TS]

podcast episode that i will not add it [TS]

  very fun [TS]

yeah yeah it was good and will be back [TS]

and we'll try to do maybe a couple more [TS]

of these is the doctor who season goes [TS]

along us wait for the pirate episode [TS]

this season we go man [TS]

yes wait for another really really bad [TS]

episode so that we can yell about it [TS]

well it's always good that's always good [TS]

excited you know this was funny was not [TS]

it's the Daleks what can you do [TS]

I thought I thought they didn't about as [TS]

well as one could do with Daleks well [TS]

now we won't see the Daleks for another [TS]

year plus well until the 50th [TS]

anniversary we got going with now is [TS]

Steven Steven Moffat dollar dollar the [TS]

weeping angels right who were due to CNN [TS]

yeah like 40 min a few episodes they [TS]

went to the crack of time [TS]

oh yeah well like that will stop yeah [TS]

  they'll always be back [TS]

good point they're not like a lost socks [TS]

at your dryer without the tiny why me [TS]

filtered AR don't blink when you open [TS]

  the dryer [TS]

I never do you don't don't even blink at [TS]

the link and the lint trap i'm supposed [TS]

to look in the lint trap [TS]

  oh it's I don't don't look don't look [TS]

don't look at the lint trap Monty yeah [TS]
