00:02:08 ◼   ► It is childhood cancer awareness month.

00:02:11 ◼   ► And each September, those of us in the relay community and and our friends

00:02:16 ◼   ► and people people out in the Apple world, uh, we come together to support

00:02:21 ◼   ► Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital.

00:02:24 ◼   ► And this childhood cancer awareness month, we are on our way to passing five

00:02:30 ◼   ► million dollars raised as a community since 2019, which is absolutely amazing to me

00:02:39 ◼   ► that we are are very close to that number.

00:02:42 ◼   ► Uh so what does that number mean?

00:02:43 ◼   ► What does that money do?

00:02:45 ◼   ► Where does it go?

00:02:46 ◼   ► Um well Saint Jude treats children from around the world without regard of where

00:02:53 ◼   ► they're from, what they look like, what they believe, whether or not they can

00:02:56 ◼   ► pay or not.

00:02:57 ◼   ► They treat them for free.

00:02:59 ◼   ► And the research they do at the hospital, their campus here in Memphis is

00:03:03 ◼   ► shared around the world.

00:03:05 ◼   ► So you don't even have to be at St.

00:03:07 ◼   ► Jude to benefit from Saint Jude.

00:03:10 ◼   ► I got an email last week from somebody whose niece had a cancer diagnosis

00:03:15 ◼   ► and she was treated elsewhere in the US.

00:03:17 ◼   ► But the doctors told them, Hey, this research, like this protocol we're using was

00:03:24 ◼   ► put together in conjunction with Saint Jude, which is absolutely incredible.

00:03:28 ◼   ► They share that research around the world.

00:03:32 ◼   ► Since St.

00:03:32 ◼   ► Jude opened in 1962, back then childhood cancer was largely considered incurable.

00:03:40 ◼   ► But since then, St.

00:03:41 ◼   ► Jude has helped push push the overall survival rate in the US from 20%

00:03:46 ◼   ► to 80%.

00:03:47 ◼   ► And they're not going to stop until no child dies from cancer.

00:03:51 ◼   ► Every child deserves a chance to live their best life and celebrate everything every

00:03:55 ◼   ► moment.

00:03:56 ◼   ► And that's what this campaign is all about.

00:12:11 ◼   ► Now, if that's the case with the touch ID, it's like it's not an

00:12:14 ◼   ► elegant experience because it takes time to happen.

00:12:22 ◼   ► like organized the authentication method here that makes it faster, right?

00:12:28 ◼   ► So maybe the iPhone Duo calls out to your watch more frequently and quicker

00:12:36 ◼   ► But at least with the current iPhones, like the seventeen Pro, like it is

00:12:41 ◼   ► not a elegant experience for the Apple Watch unlock because the better one is

00:13:45 ◼   ► do this thing in collaboration with Google and governments got annoyed at them.

00:13:50 ◼   ► But they were like, hey, we're just trying to do this thing, and it

00:13:53 ◼   ► ended up being like a whole big mess.
