00:11:52 ◼   ► of views about the world so if you want [TS]

00:11:55 ◼   ► something fun and zany that's not going [TS]

00:11:57 ◼   ► to take you too long to read but also [TS]

00:11:58 ◼   ► has a really painstakingly [TS]

00:12:31 ◼   ► assassin instead of flick some heroic [TS]

00:12:33 ◼   ► person and this assassin r-okla [TS]

00:12:37 ◼   ► Kingslayer had basically become an [TS]

00:12:39 ◼   ► alcoholic thug for hire [TS]

00:12:41 ◼   ► after his goddess of justice died and [TS]

00:12:43 ◼   ► the books follow him along his path of [TS]

00:12:45 ◼   ► attempted redemption and they include a [TS]

00:12:48 ◼   ► delightfully diverse cast of characters [TS]

00:12:50 ◼   ► and because it's a fantasy world and [TS]

00:12:52 ◼   ► doesn't have to conform to our social [TS]

00:12:53 ◼   ► norms the women in these books have [TS]

00:12:56 ◼   ► exactly the same social status as the [TS]

00:12:58 ◼   ► men and there are lots of great female [TS]

00:13:00 ◼   ► characters who run the gamut from super [TS]

00:13:02 ◼   ► kick ass 2 super flawed and all [TS]

00:13:05 ◼   ► gradations in between which is exactly [TS]

00:13:07 ◼   ► what I want from fiction i want my [TS]

00:13:08 ◼   ► female characters to have as much depth [TS]

00:13:10 ◼   ► and breadth as a male characters the [TS]

00:13:14 ◼   ► fun but they get progressively better [TS]

00:13:16 ◼   ► and better and stronger as they go in [TS]

00:13:34 ◼   ► excellent job of emerging the tropes of [TS]

00:13:36 ◼   ► a classic detective story with with [TS]

00:13:38 ◼   ► those of really good urban fantasy and [TS]

00:13:40 ◼   ► well-researched historical fiction and [TS]

00:13:42 ◼   ► there are two different POV characters [TS]

00:13:44 ◼   ► whose chapters alternate throughout the [TS]

00:13:46 ◼   ► book one is Delia the title character in [TS]

00:13:49 ◼   ► the first book who is a woman who lives [TS]
